  • Strike Force Tour News - Courtesy Of SFT.

Today’s tournament, Sunday May 5, was a 2-squad event at AMF Mesa. With all the other events going on around the state we would have a nice turnout with 85 total entries (65 qualifying & 20 parlays) paying out over $5,600 in main and side event prizefunds.

The bowlers played on the 43ft Kegel Dead Man’s Curve which saw medium scores for the first two squads. The Quarterfinals would see scores explode as bowlers were able to move left and get around the ball for some strikes. We would see Mitchell Hays hit some crucial strikes when he needed it in the Semis and Finals to take home his 1st AHT SFT title and $1,050.00 first place prize! Congrats to Dustin Wengeler on second place for $300.00 (no progressive pot) and Shawna Strause on 3rd place for $350.00!

Thank you to everyone that came out today to bowl the tournament. Also, thanks to Kathleen Hedge Weissmann and the staff at AMF Mesa for having us out and providing great service to our bowlers. Thanks to Michael Dragon for helping out today to run the tournament.

Tournament results and event summary will be online tomorrow.

We are going to take a couple of weeks off for Mother’s Day and Graduations. We will be back for our 3-day Memorial Day Major at Bowlero Kyrene on May 25th thru May 27th!
