Malaysia's Sin wins second career title at the PWBA Bowlers Journal Rockford Open

ROCKFORD, Ill. – Sin Li Jane out of Malaysia returned to the Professional Women’s Bowling Association after a hiatus and came out on top in the second event of the 2024 season at The Cherry Bowl in Rockford, Illinois, at the PWBA Bowlers Journal Rockford Open.

Mesa - - - On Sunday May 5, the Mesa Metropolitan Association held its annual meeting at Mesa East. 12 board members, and 21 bowlers attended the meeting for a voting strength of 33. 25 was needed to have a quarum.

Pluhowsky wins 2024 PWBA GoBowling! Twin Cities Open.

EAGAN, Minn. – Shannon Pluhowsky of Dayton, Ohio, won the first Professional Women’s Bowling Association Tour event of the season by defeating England’s Verity Crawley by a score of 236-203 during Saturday night’s stepladder finals at the 2024 PWBA GoBowling! Twin Cities Open, which was contested at Cedarvale Lanes in Eagan, Minnesota.

LAS VEGAS – Delegates elected three board members, attended a variety of educational seminars and were on hand for a celebration of Glenn Allison during a jam-packed 2024 United States Bowling Congress Convention and Annual Meeting, which concluded Thursday at South Point Hotel, Casino and Spa.

ITC Champions Crowned

This year marked the 50th edition of the United States Bowling Congress Collegiate team national championship tournament, and Saturday’s title match between Webber International and Lawrence Tech was undoubtedly one of the most exciting in the event’s history.

Webber came in looking for its third men’s ITC title while Lawrence Tech was hoping to break through and collect the first in program history.

LEDFORD CAPTURES 2024 USBC SENIOR QUEENS TITLE

LAS VEGAS – Kathy Ledford of Boise, Idaho, won the 2024 United States Bowling Congress Senior Queens held at Gold Coast Bowling Center in Las Vegas, and did so in thrilling fashion.

She was the final player to advance to the match-play bracket – by one pin – and was the No. 32 seed, but match play can almost feel like a new tournament is underway.

Booker Wins 2024 Masters Championship

LAS VEGAS – DeeRonn Booker has arrived.

The 33-year old right-hander from Albuquerque, New Mexico, won the 2024 United States Bowling Congress Masters at Suncoast Bowling Center in Las Vegas on Sunday, claiming his first major championship and becoming the third African-American bowler to win a major title on the Professional Bowlers Association Tour.
