Ft. Myers - - - The Southwest Florida USBC Association has seen quite a few changes over the last several months and we find ourselves looking for some new Board members due to various reasons. We are looking for special people that have the time, dedication, and passion for bowling and helping other bowlers. Board members need to be able to commit to help with getting back and forth between bowling centers and leagues. Our association holds four separate tournaments each year for our members and frequently hosts tournaments held by the State USBC Board. If all members participate, none of us has to work every day or every squad.
You will hear soon about our annual meeting being held May 8th and elections will be held at that time with terms beginning August 1st. For those of you that have interest, I have attached an application for the Board for your use. If you have problems downloading the app, you can request one at tournament@swfusbc.com . The completed apps can be returned to the same email address. These need to be returned by April 9th.

Lehigh Acres - - - Thanks once again to the 24 Bowlers that Shoe'd up for our Monthly 6 Game Scratch Sweeper, bowled on the 46' Johnny Petraglia oil Pattern, at Lehigh Lanes. Your Champion this Month was Dennis Megan Beagle who lead Qualifying and took home the win Defeating Mark Polaski Jr. for the the title. Dennis has been bowling phenomenal lately and truly is a treat watching you my friend. 3rd place went to my friend and partner Chris Keane . 4th place went to Jordan Frazier who has been on fire lately and rounding out the top 5 was Mason Ward. 6th place cash spot went to Davion Swiney. Remember this event runs on the 3rd Saturday of every month. Hope to see you all at our next event on Saturday April 17th. There were over a dozen brand new bowlers to this afternoons event! It’s GREAT meeting and speaking to new bowlers! Congrats to all of today’s winners!
