Bishop Verot Wins District Boys Bowling Title - Courtesy Of Mike Cannington. Events Took Place On October 25-26 At Coral Lanes.
Cape Coral - - - Bishop Verot takes home the District title in Boys high school bowling. Mariner put up a great fight and finished as district runner-up. These two teams, along with Devin Richards(Cypress Lake) and Randy Ayala(Cape Coral) as singles reps, will compete next week in Orlando. Congrats to all the bowlers who competed today. The girls are up tomorrow.

Cape Coral - - - North Ft Myers Girls are District Champions! The Red Knights rallied out of the loser’s bracket to defeat Mariner twice at the end. Both North and Mariner will represent Lee County next week at the state championships in Orlando!

Ft. Myers - - - Another high school bowling record broken, but this time it is for Lee County. Katarina Hagler bowled a beautiful 278 which breaks the single high game record held by Jessica Davies of Island Coast that was set in 2012. Oasis High School is now on the bowling record books in only it’s 2nd season and Katarina now holds records in both Broward and Lee counties as well as the girls state high average for high school. Today’s ball of choice was the Storm Axiom Pearl.
