MESA METROPOLITAN USBC ASSOCIATION ANNUAL MEETING

Mesa - - - ALL MMA Bowlers are invited and encouraged to attend. Some of the things to be discussed/presented are (but not limited to), Current Status of the Association, Presentation of Hall of Fame Inductees, Presentation of Youth Bowlers of the Year, Election of new Board Members and other business that may be brought before the membership.
Positions to be elected are (1) Vice-President and (6) Directors. Any person wishing to be considered for one of these positions MUST turn in an application before, or on, May 11th (30 day notice) to be interviewed and considered for the ballot.

Chandler - - - Congratulations to our April 1st No Tap Winners!
We had a total of 87 entries
Raised $87 for Mesa Strikers youth bowlers
Paid out $2080 in prize money, along with $320 to scratch division, and $1500 in side pots
We had 2 youth finish in the top 14, and their funds have been sent to SMART
Our High handicaps games paid $128 each to: Josh Thompson, Jason Morgan, Kevin Todd & Mark Urgero
High Scratch games paid a total of $256. We had multiple 300's so it was divided among: Josh Thompson, Tq Nimox, Kurt Lucas, William Fitzgerald, Bruce Franks, Matt Reif, Chris Stewart, Mark Urgero, David Black & Chris Hatcher
High Handicap Series of $345 went to Jason Jason Rabadi Bastell for his 1281 and the High Scratch Series went to Mark Urgero's 1109 for $175
Buddy Darnell broke the bank for $212
Mark those calendars, our next No Tap is May 6th and the Bowlero Mesa Bakers Doubles is April 29th

Tucson - - - The 2023 Tucson Metro USBC Annual Meeting will take place on Sunday, May 7, 1pm, at the KayCee Club, 601 South Tucson Blvd. The election of officers and board members will take place, as well as the discussion of bowling matters.

Tucson - - - On Saturday, April 22, at 10 am and 2 pm, senior bowlers, 50 and older, men and women, have the opportunity to try to qualify for the 2023 Tucson Metro USBC Senior Masters and Queens Tournament at Bowlero Tucson.
There are two squads on Saturday (April 22), at 10 am and 2 pm, where bowlers will bowl 5 games to qualify for Sunday's (April 23) finals. The Senior Queens final will consist of step-ladder format and the Senior Masters will be a double elimination format.
This is a walk-in tournament. Check-in begins one hour prior and the entry fee is $100. Bowlers can reenter if they choose to do so.

Tucson - - - Tucson Metro USBC wants to thank everyone who came out to bowl in the Senior/Not Senior Sweeper Tournament today, which featured the pattern for the 2023 Senior Masters/Queens Tournaments, 2020 PBA Carmen Salvino.
The tournament paid the top eight, and they were:
Rich Miller, +92, winning $350 and a free entry into next week's Senior Masters.
John Cook , +89, winning $250.
James Gregory Kraykovich, +79, winning $175.
Mark Lopez, +73, winning $150.
Keith Dommer, +44, winning $125.
Greg Henniges, +38, winning $100.
Bruce Coffman, +23, winning $75.
Shawn Whitelaw, +19, winning $50.
In addition, Tucson Metro USBC offered high game pots of $20 per game, for each of the five games bowled. The winners were:
