Mesa - - - Thank you to everyone who came out to the PBA Win-A-Spot today. A special thank you to Jodi Edger, Jon Binger, and the staff at Bowlero Mesa for the hospitality and helping this run without a hitch. We look forward to seeing everyone on September 12th.

Congrats to Dylan Taylor for leading the pack, as well as Gregory Thompson Jr. and Matt Zweig on earning spots into the tournament. Honorable mention to Mathew Adragna on the last cash spot. We look forward to seeing everyone on Sept 12th.

Taylor, from Scottsdale, rolled games of: 182, 179, 223, 201, and 229 for a five game total of 1,014 or +14. Matt Zweig earned the second win-a-spot at -7. And Greg Thompson claimed the third win-a-spot at -9. 23 bowlers paid $55 for a chance to win-a-spot in the upcoming event.

*Second Annual Military Tournament At Ten Pins Down.

Maricopa - - - The second annual Military Team Tournament will once again take place at TenPins Down in Maricopa. TenPins Down is located in the Ultra Star entertainment complex, that is right next door to Harrah's Ak-Chin Casino. The event will take place on the weekend of September 26-27. Once again, the tournament will be co-run by the Casa Grande, and Mesa Metro Associations. For more information and entries for the tournament, please contact the MMA office @ 480-969-6944.

Mesa - - - CBE has partnered (somewhat) to create a double header weekend for bowlers to enjoy and compete in 2 separate events.

Saturday, Sept 12th will be a 1 day PBA Regional at Bowlero Mesa.

Sunday, Sept 13th CBE will host an event at Bowlero Mesa as well.

In an effort to avoid a busy check in line, we are HIGHLY recommending to pay in advance via PayPal, Venmo, Apple Pay or Zelle. This allows us to have less people in line to check in, and assists with following the health guidelines.

Mesa - - - A new Mesa Strikers Junior Gold League is now being formed at Bowlero Mesa, in Mesa. Meeting will take place on Monday August 24th, @ 6pm. Bowling will follow at 6:30pm. Bowlers will bowl four games, and it is an individual point system. The league will run for 35 weeks, and a position round will take place every fifth week. Seven sport shot patterns will be used during the course of the 35 weeks to bowl on. Cost is $25 per week. Lineage $10, Jr. Gold $10, and prize fund $5. Mesa - - - I am looking for bowlers of all averages who are looking to challenge themselves in the game of bowling. This league is open to all who wish to learn to make adjustments to lane conditions and are looking for a fun competitive environment. We have averages from 140-230.

The Monday Scratch Match league begins August 24th 6pm meeting - 6:30pm practice located at Bowlero Mesa (Dobson & Southern).

4 person teams-850 cap - $25 weekly

Bowling 7 patterns - 5 weeks per pattern

Stepladder finals.

*Payouts are based on how you finish each pattern. Based on at least 14 teams, we are looking at paying out nearly $24,000+ in prize fund $$$.

Phoenix - - - Looking for a short season league, NFL Trios Monday nights at Let it Roll Bowl. 25 weeks, $21/week. Not your typical league, bowl for 1 point, win or lose just like a NFL team. Sweepers included in weekly fees. League started last night 8/17, and needs individuals to fill in spots, and full teams are welcome.

Phoenix - - - Looking for a Laughlin league to bowl this fall. Laughlin Express is starting this Friday 8/21 at Christown Lanes. 6:30 practice 6:45 start. $20/week 36 weeks. Stay and bowl at the Riverside Hotel and Resort. League pays for 1 night double occupancy. Pre league meeting will start round 6:00 p.m on the 21st.

Tuesday night league at AMF Union Hills Starting on Tuesday, September 15th………. Hoping to increase our league size. May need singles and full teams of 5.

Tucson - - - Our first tournament of the year is now open to receive entries. The Senior Open Tournament will be hosted by Bowlero Bowl on September 26 - 27 and October 3 - 4. Entries can be found at all local bowling centers and on our website at: www.tucsonmetrousbc.com. All bowlers entering the tournament must be 50 years of age or older on September 26, 2020. Squad times are 1:00 pm on Saturdays and 10:00 pm on Sundays. The entry closing date is September 21. Tournament Directors are Jerry Coderre and Joe Esparza.
