Chandler - - - The BIG weekend if finally here! Our 3-Day Labor Day Major Event is this weekend at Bowlero Kyrene!

Separate days, separate cuts and huge side pots! Looking for a new bowling ball...you got it! Check out our Super Saver Package to pick up a Track ball of your choice along with a couple of main entries! Bowlers can qualify on any of the three days for a chance at our $1,500 first place prize!

We will have tons of side action with a Special 3-Day Sweeper guaranteeing $300.00 for first place. There will be $100.00 high game side pots (with handicap) for the 2:00 PM squads on Saturday & Sunday. Also the 12:00 PM squad on Monday will have this feature with a bonus $200.00 high game side pot (with handicap) on the 2:00 PM squad. So you don't want to miss out!

Congratulations to our August winners!!

We had our biggest turn out to date!! 81 total entries: 31 in the 370 cap and 50 in the 430 cap

We had a lane go down a computer crash, yet we still managed to pull it off. Thank you all so much for your patience. This month is a new record breaker for entries.

We raised $162 for Mesa Strikers Youth Bowlers and received an additional $40 donation from Bruce Franks

19 teams made cashing rounds. We paid out $3960 in prize money, and $2104 in side pots

Congratulations goes to our big 300 pot winners: Kyle Ponzo/Aaron Coleman taking home $794 for their 300 in the 4th game

Tucson - - - Today in Tucson, August 28, the annual Roy Lawson Mixed Doubles Tournament took part at Cactus Bowl with 76 bowlers (38 teams). This was a special tournament since it would be Mickey Hagler's last event before he and his wife move to Ohio this fall.

Before bowling began, your Tucson Metro USBC President presented Mickey and Thank You plaque from Tucson Metro USBC, in recognition for all his work and efforts for our Tucson bowling family.

Congratulations to Keith Ylvisaker and Nikki Turner for winning the Roy Lawson A Division with a 1383 score and Marie and Frank Buck, who won B Division with a score of 1457.

Congratulations to Mickey Hagler, Destiny Lopez and the staff at Cactus Bowl for another successful event.

Thank you again Mickey for your long career of work for Tucson’s bowling family and good luck in the next chapter of your life.
