Greetings SFT Bowlers!
Mesa - - - I hope you are all doing well. We are excited to announce our 2022 season points results and our 2023 schedule! Due to the unforeseen events that shortened our 2022 season, our season points race ended in September 2022. Since there was no time to schedule any events before the end of the year, we are going to be awarding the winners of the 2022 Summer Circuit and the 2022 Player of the Year awards.
2022 Season Points Race
SFT Player of the Year is Tim Eichhorn with 2,528 points and will receive 20 non-Major event exemptions and will receive a dye-sub custom jersey, free one-year SFT membership and an awards plaque.
- 2nd Place Overall is Neiko McCullough (1,855 points) will receive 6 non-Major event exemptions.
- 3rd Place Josh Williams (1,760 points) will receive 4 non-Major event exemptions.
2022 SFT Senior Player of the Year is Robert Smith, Jr. with 1,730 points and will receive $100 SFT credit, a dye-sub custom jersey, free one-year SFT membership and an awards plaque.
2022 Female Player of the Year is Melissa King with 875 points and will receive $100 SFT credit, a dye-sub custom jersey, free one-year SFT membership and an awards plaque.
2022 SFT Rookie of the Year is Neiko McCullough with 1,855 points and will receive $100 SFT credit, a dye-sub custom jersey, free one-year SFT membership and an awards plaque.
2022 Summer Circuit Winners (July 2022 – September 2022)
1st place – Josh Williams – 1,215 points
2nd place – Sean Molloy – 940 points
3rd place – James Strang III – 925 points
4th place – Christopher Mayes – 880 points
Quarterly Circuit Prizes
1st Place – 3 Free Main Entries, 2 Free Economy Parlays, Special Circuit Winner Polo, 20 raffle tickets and a Track High Performance bowling ball of choice.
2nd Place – 2 Free Main Entries, 1 Free Economy Parlay, 10 raffle tickets and 1 free plastic ball (with an option to upgrade to any Track bowling ball for $85.00).
3rd Place – 1 Free Main Entry, 1 Free Economy Parlay, 10 raffle tickets and Free one-year SFT membership.
4th place – 1 Free Main Entry and 1 Free Economy Parlay.

Tucson - - - Tucson Metro USBC Board hopes your bowling season is going well for you. We look forward to seeing you all at our upcoming tournaments and hope you can also take part in other bowling events held as well. Here is your latest update:
Tucson Senior Open Championships: The 60th Annual Tucson Metro USBC Senior Open Championships have concluded, with 163 bowlers and 40 teams taking part at Cactus Bowl, December 3-4 and December 10-11. Tucson Metro USBC wants to thank the bowlers from Tucson and across the state who took part. Thank you also to Destiny Lopez and the staff at Cactus Bowl for hosting our tournament.
Here are the final standings:
Team – Black & White, 2929; Doubles (TIE) - Greg Henniges & Mark Lopez and Gary Alvarez and Ken Lewis Sr., 1527; Singles – Mike Tountas, 792; All-Events – Ken Lewis Sr., 2283.
Here are the Scratch Award Winners:
Team - Belinda's Boys – 2667, Ed Vegas, Jeff Segneri, Steve Hiscox and John Cook; Doubles – 1439,
Darrell Linton and Rich Miller; Singles – 769, Mike Tountas; All Events – 2068, Steve Lopez.
I would also like to thank my fellow Tucson Metro USBC Board Members for their work for this tournament, which was one of the keys to making it a success.
Women’s Open Championships: The next tournament on the Tucson Metro USBC Calendar is the Women’s Championships, taking place January 21-22 at Fiesta Lanes. Applications are at your Tucson bowling centers and are available online at tucsonmetrousbc.com.
Welcome New Board Members: I would like to thank this moment to welcome Joe Beard, Ken Lewis Sr., and Brandon Knapp, as your newest Board Members to Tucson Metro USBC. Thank you Joe, Ken and Brandon for your commitment and we look forward to working with you.
Congratulations: On Monday, December 6, in the Ebonite EBI League, Steve Lopez was presented his 11 In A Row Mug for his 290 game bowled in the 78th Annual Open Championships.
On Saturday, December 10, in the Bowlero Youth League, Lino Nava III bowled his first 300 game. Congratulations!
Justin Casey on Monday, December 12, bowled a 300 game in the Awesome Foursome League at Lucky Strike Bowl.
In the Tuesday, December 13, Fun Timers League, bowling at Fiesta Lanes, Ron Wehr bowled a 297 on lanes 7-8 and also on the same pair, Larry Maddox had a 299 and 811 series! Great bowling!

Chandler - - - I'm sorry for the late posting. Family took a much needed vacation, and now we're back and ready to get to it.
Congratulations for our December No Tap Winners!!
We had a total 75 entries. 12 bowlers cashed in our hdcp payout (low to cash 855) and 6 in our scratch division. We paid out $2180 in prize money and $1169 in side pot action.
Our top scratch division winner was Scott Perkins with an 874, and our top hdcp winner was Ryan Bollinger with a 911.
We had 8 300's this month. Each 300 took home $38
Our next event is the Bowlero Mesa Bakers Doubles, New Years Day Hangover Special!! Looking forward to seeing you all then.
