Picking Up The Spares December 3, 2024

SFT News - Courtesy Of SFT.

Gilbert - - - We wrapped up the 2024 season with a 2-squad tournament at Bowlero Gilbert, on Sunday December 1. We would have 91 total entries (68 qualifying & 23 parlays) paying out over $5,800 in main and side event prizefunds.

The bowlers played on the 41ft PBA Bear oil pattern that played a bit soft. We would see some higher scores as the day went on. With the cut to make the quarterfinals around +60.

We would see an exciting Finals as it would come down to the tenth frame to determine our champion. All three bowlers would have a chance for the win, but Nate Prince would get just enough to win by 1 pin!!!! Congrats to Nate on taking home his 1st AHT SFT title and $900.00 prize. Also, congrats to Brandon T. Bailey on second place for $450.00. Congrats to Dave Roppel on third place for $250.00!

Thanks to Jodi Bach and her staff at Bowlero Gilbert on having us out and providing excellent customer service. Also, huge thanks to Michael Dragon for helping out today on short notice.

We will see the Top 28 in points at the 2024 Matchplay Invitational in two weeks at Bowlero Kyrene. More information will be coming soon!
