Long-Time Mesa Metro Member Of Bowling Community Passes Away - From Gary Roff.
Update 2/4/2024 - I just received a text that Bobbi passed away last night around 11pm. My thoughts are with the family during this time.
Good morning all,
I received information this morning that long-time member of the bowling community, Bobbi Fredrikson, has recently been admitted to Hospice of the Valley on Dobson in Chandler.
Bobbi has served the Mesa bowling community in a number of different roles throughout the years. Please keep her and her family in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you.

GCU Completes Third Trip To Hoosier Classic - From GCU Bowling Program
Indianapolis, IN. - - - Our 3rd trip to the Hoosier Classic is in the books! We grinded all day Saturday to put us in a solid position heading into baker. Our performance on Sunday left the squad disappointed, but we still managed to move up two spots in the standings, to 18th. We know that the pins we left out on the lanes will push us to be better moving into the postseason and in future years at this event.
This is our highest finish in program history in the event and is nothing to be ashamed of in the deepest tournament of the year, with 78 teams from all over the country! Big shout to Freshman, Jovan Mercado, for finishing in 18th individually. As always, thanks to our sponsors Virtue Bowling Supply and Hammer Bowling!
We'd like to extend an additional thank you to the friends and family members that donated to our annual fundraising campaign that allowed our student-athletes and coaches to make this trip!
