TAT Breaks Record With 1,400 Entries. Courtesy Of TAT.

Las Vegas, NV. Another record breaking event at the 2023 TAT Nationals in Las Vegas!  We had a fun week with 1,400 bowlers, 14,000 games bowled, and over 5,000 entries in all events!   The TAT paid out over $500,000 in Cash & Prizes last week at South Point Plaza in Las Vegas, sponsored by Storm Bowling.

Bowlers were thrilled with how smooth and fast everything was running with the average wait in line time less than 5 minutes for most of the event with quick results posted to the TAT App and website.

The Sunday finals paid out over $300,000 on February 13th with an exciting Championship Match.  It was any ones game to win in the 10th and Robert Campagnale struck out to win the TAT Crystal Cup and $20,000.  Unfortunately, Bobby did not pay the $10 Progressive Pot to receive the $5,000 Bonus and shot at the TAT Progressive Pot.  The good news is the $71,500 will carry over to July where we are raising the 1st Place prize to $25,000 if you are in the Progressive Pot while also raising the VIP Prize list.

This is the first tournament the TAT has paid out over $400,000 in cash & checks with the total payout for the week of $428,500.   We also gave out 927 Storm Bowling balls and other Storm/TAT Merchandise throughout the week.

TAT Championship Match

Bobby Campagnale          $20,000 37 & Above                  246

Maria De La Vega             $10,000 215 & Under Division    229

Andre Gonzalez                $ 7,000   26 & Under Division    202

Long Kemple                    $ 6,000   189 & Under Division   196

Charles Price                    $ 5,000   50+ Senior Division     172

Several bowlers took home trophies this week as CJ Patterson from Albuqurque, NM won the TAT 50+ Senior Tournament and $10,000 on Monday.  CJ had a repeat performance on Wednesday night by winning The Storm Challenge and $5,000.

The Scratch event championship match also came down to the last ball in one of the best shootouts in TAT history.   By striking out in the 10th, Mason Moore from Aurora, CA beat Tony Podobnik from Pittsburgh, PA to win $10,000.

We could not run this event without the support from our wonderful bowlers, Sponsors, and Staff.

Storm always brings an amazing crew full of Hall of Famer's and knowledge.  Norm Duke came out this week to sign autographs and talk bowling with our competitors.  Storm does so much for the TAT and the Sport of bowling and we are lucky to have them on our team.

South Point has the best venue in bowling for big events and with the huge crowd, we needed the space.  South Point took amazing care of their lanes and our bowlers this week to make sure everything ran smooth.

Coolwick made all our new TAT banners, TAT Dri-fit shirts, and TAT Staff jerseys we wore all week.  The TAT Jerseys can be found on Coolwicks website for 10% off using code TAT10.   Anyone that buys a TAT jersey and wears it in July will get a FREE TAT T-shirt or $10 off your entry.

The McWilliams Family and TAT Staff would like to personally thank everyone that contributed to this historic TAT event.  We promise to keep making things bigger and better just as we have done for 23 years.

Come join us this Summer in Las Vegas July 2nd-9th at The Orleans in Las Vegas where 1st place will be $25,000.   Book your $51 room rate now with half resort fee using Group Code TATF23P.

for 2024, Super bowl is in Las Vegas so we will be moving to February 16th-25th, 2024 to help make travel expenses cheaper.

We hope to see everyone back in Vegas for another great TAT Event!

Tucson - - - Tucson Metro USBC has scored a major victory! Paul Colwell has won major bowling titles in the ABC/USBC, the PBA, Arizona State, USBC and Tucson Bowling Association and Tucson Metro USBC. He is in all the Bowling Hall of Fames and bowls in leagues in Tucson, but for years and years and years (add more five years), had not gotten his USBC sanction card and not for Tucson Metro USBC trying taking longer than World War II. Tonight Tucson Metro USBC proudly presented Paul with his USBC Sanction Card, led by the effort of General Steve Harris, who bowls everywhere. Paul and his wife Bunnie Colwell were surprised, happy and overjoyed. This is Tucson Metro USBC working and at its finest.
