WEEKEND RECAP! GCU Has Impressive Performance At Devil's Duel And Antelope Shoot-Out. Courtesy Of GCU.
Event Took Place At Glenfair Lanes In Phoenix. January 14-15-16.
Phoenix - - - Our entire squad hit the lanes together for the first time this season at the Devil's Duel and Antelope Shoot-Out. We had a blast and learned a lot.
The Women's Team competed without an opponent, but shot their 3 highest team games of the season on Saturday and their 2 highest baker games on Sunday!
The JV Teams battled it out both days. JV1 also shot their high team game of the season and were led by Freshman Alex Hartman, who won the individual portion of the tournament at the Devil's Duel! Duncan Kesler came back strong on Sunday by being the top finisher in their division. JV2 got their first taste of collegiate tournament action. They finished the weekend with a very solid 16 game baker set on Sunday!
The Varsity squad swept the weekend for the second time this season! They were led by captain Matt Adragna, who threw all three strikes in the 10th on Saturday to edge out Fresno State by a single pin! Josh Molloy also joined Matt on the All-Tournament Team at the Devil's Duel.

TUCSON – Your Tucson Metro USBC Board are proud to announce their next tournament on their 2021-22 schedule, the 72nd Annual Tucson Metro USBC Women’s Open Championships.
The Women’s Open Championships, open to women bowlers 18 years and older, will take place on the weekends of January 22-23 and 29-30 at Bowlero, 114 S. Camino Seco.
The Women’s Open Championships will consist of four events: Singles, Doubles, Team and All-Events. There are handicap and scratch options for these events.
In addition, your Tucson Metro USBC Board will be offering scratch and handicap brackets during the tournament as well as 50/50 drawings. Your tournament directors are Gloria Harris and Belinda Hiscox.
