Chandler - - - Our weekend’s event was at AMF Chandler Lanes.  This was our Track Match Play Challenge fun event and it was the first time that we would have this event in over 4 years.  We had a good turnout with a total of 78 entries today and paid out over $1,700.00 in main and side event prize funds!  The players bowled on a 42ft Autobahn oil pattern that hooked a lot due to the lane surface at this bowling center.  The bowlers could play the middle of the lane like most long patterns, but if you got it too hard outside to quickly it would overreact by quite a bit. The scoring was pretty high all day long with cashing numbers normally averaging around +100, but it would also depend on who you were matched up against.

There were a number of players going after the daily totals incentives. We would see Logan Spencer, Shawna Strause and Molly Weitzeil all tied for the lead going into the final squad, but all three did not bowl the final squad leaving it open for those that were outside the Top 3. Ryan Somineck and Justin Phillips were able to take advantage and finish the final squad as your top two finishers, with Ryan being the tournament champion. The squad champions were Logan Spencer scoring 13 points and a series of 784 in the first squad, Shawna Strause scoring 15 points and a series of 806 in the second squad, and John Masterson scoring 13 points and a series of 732 in the 3rd squad.  It was one of those patterns that if you figured out where you needed to play, you could strike quite a bit. We had a few players that would get close to a perfect 300 game, but none were able to close them out!

Thanks to everyone for coming out to the event! Our next event is our 2-squad event at AMF Peoria next Saturday! Hope to see you all there!

Winter Circuit Coming To A Close.

Reminder as our we are coming up on our last two events of the Winter Circuit! This weekend's event and next Sunday at Bowlero Kyrene will be the final ones for the 2021 Winter Circuit (January - March). There were a few bowlers still battling it out for a spot in the top 4 with a win or cash in the next couple of events.
