4th Annual Turkey Trot To Take Place This Sunday At Bowlero Mesa
Mesa - - - The 4th Annual Turkey Trot will take place this Sunday, November 17, @ Bowlero Mesa. Check in is at 10:00 AM, and bowling starts at 11:00 AM. The Turkey Trot is a five game individual tournament, and all five games will be bowled on the same pair. Cost is $50. You can enter the event, by visiting bowlmesa.com. ARLINGTON, Texas – With spots quickly filling for the 2025 United States Women's Open Championships in Las Vegas, the tournament staff has extended the 105th edition of the event by a week to allow for more teams to compete at the South Point Bowling Plaza.
The 2025 event now will run from April 26 to July 6 at the 60-lane tournament venue inside the South Point Hotel, Casino and Spa and feature competition for 72 consecutive days. The tournament originally was scheduled to conclude June 29.
The new dates will become available in the tournament’s online registration system starting Monday, Nov. 4 at 3 p.m. Eastern.
The event’s capacity currently sits at more than 80% for 2025, and the extra week will open spots for 196 teams to join in the action. More than 3,700 four-player teams already have registered for the tournament.
Squads at the 2025 USBC Women’s Championships will take place at 9 a.m. (doubles/singles), 12:30 p.m. (doubles/singles), 4 p.m. (team) and 7:30 p.m. (team on Saturday/Monday/Thursday and doubles/singles on Sunday/Tuesday/Friday).
The new week will feature available spots at 4 p.m. for team competition and 12:30 p.m. for doubles and singles. The tournament staff also recently opened additional team and doubles/singles sets for 7:30 p.m. squads in May and June.
The cost to enter the 2025 tournament will be $55 per event, plus an optional $15 for all-events ($180 per bowler). There also will be a $20 processing fee per team.
The Women’s Championships features four average-based divisions in each event and will introduce Team All-Events for the first time in 2025.
Both the 2025 and 2026 events will be held at the South Point Bowling Plaza after previous trips to the venue in 2016 and 2023.
