Tucson - - - Congratulations to Arizona’s own @bryannacote2 on winning the much-deserved @pwbatour Player of the Year award this season! Bryanna bowled incredible all year, including winning the title at the PWBA ITRC Classic in January, as well as runner-up finishes at the Greater Cleveland Open, the PWBA Classic, and the PWBA Tour Championships. In a field of very tough competition, Bryanna rounded out the season with a truly stellar performance this past week in Reno to help secure POY.

Bowl For The Cure Arizona Has Another Successful Fund Raiser - Courtesy Of Mandy Etem.
Scottsdale - - - The 2021 Bowl For The Cure Arizona baker events took place on October 16th and 17th and both were a huge success! Saturday’s event took place at Via Linda Bowl in Scottsdale where we had a total of 30 teams. Team #26 made up of Michael Haugen, Gary Demeny, Steve Slifka, Johnny Gonzalez, and Tracy Lee were this year’s Phoenix champions. Sunday’s event took place at Cactus Bowl in Tucson with 16 teams and the championship went to Team High Five – Mike Kennedy, Robert Ylvisaker, Sarah Vancleeve, Keith Ylvisaker, Alan Vancleeve. A big thank you and congratulations goes out to Team Surf Bowl who competed at both events and bowled a 300 game in Tucson.
This event is never possible without the support of many sponsors, donations, and volunteers. TUCSON – Your Tucson Metro USBC Board proudly presents the 42nd Annual Tucson Metro USBC Senior Women’s Open, taking place Saturday and Sunday, November 13-14.
Lucky Strike Bowl, located at 4015 East Speedway, is the host bowling center for this tournament, for Women, 50 years and older.
This tournament will again, consist of nine-games of bowling in three events, Singles, Doubles and Team. This will be a handicap tournament with an optional scratch events.
Your Tucson Metro USBC Association Manager, Steve Harris, stated there are still openings for interested bowlers to take part.

Tucson - - - Hello everyone. Getting ready for the next King of the Hill. Normally we have it on Saturdays but this time it will be on Sunday, 21 November 2021 @ 10:30. Still the same alley, Bowler Bowl. I wanted to have it before Thanksgiving and this was the only date. All future King of the Hills will be back on Saturdays. Now for some information about this KoH. It will be a Doubles Tournament. No Average Cap. The same format as usual although for the stepladder finals it will be a Scotch Doubles Format.The first bowler will throw the first shot. The second bowler will shoot for the spare. They will alternate if a strike is thrown. The entry fee is still the same, $55.00 with a $30.00 Optional High Game. The pattern is INFERNO.
