Camp Verde - - - Brett won $5,035 for his efforts (I’ll explain the $35 later) on the very tough 41’ TAT Cliff Castle Classic 2023 oil pattern. Be sure to look for a full recap of the tournament in the next issue of Desert Bowler, which I will link on this page at publication time.

Phoenix - - - We kicked off the 2023 Fall Quarterly Circuit today, October 15, at Bowlero Christown! We would see 80 total entries (62 qualifying and 18 parlays) paying out over $4,500 in main and side event prize funds.
We would see Douglas Bukauskas absolutely steamroll everyone on his way to winning his 1st AHT SFT title and $875.00! Congrats to Myles Hamilton on making back-to-back Finals and taking home 2nd place for $400.00. Also, congrats to Merrill King on 3rd place for $280.00.
Thank you to everyone that came out today for our tournament. Thanks to the staff at Bowlero Christown for hosting us today. Also thanks to Michael Dragon and Hokey Begay for helping out today and keeping us on time.

Kingman - - -Phoenix Bowlers today, October 14, brought in 15 entries which I can live with, for my event at CerbatLanes in Kingman, Az. Here's who was in the final match, Matt Zweig and Richard Jones Jr. . Matt won with a 217 and Rich finished second with a 178. The first match saw Troy Blickenstaff have a 162 and Richard prevailed with a 167.
Good matches as they were. Matt got $550 for first place, Richard Jones Jr. $275 for second and Troy $130 for third. Matt Brazeal who had -105, got a half-entry credit for $52 into the next event he enters. The cut for 8th place to move on for the cut to top 3 wss a -149. The cut to move on for 3rd place was -68 Here are the results on sidepots at $20 for 1st and $5 for second was: 1st game Matt Zweig 219. 2nd game Joe Salvemini 246 and Matt Zweig 216. 3rd game Troy Blickenstaff 255 and 233 Matt Zweig. 4th game Matt Zweig 232 and Matt Brazeal 214. 5th game Matt Zweig 255 and Danny Reed 219.
6th game Matt Brazeal 209 and Ross Lions 202. My next scratch event with this same format will be on Sunday November 5th at 10am. It will be a $105 entry fee instead of $100, due to gas, economy and travel but it'll be a slightly higher prize fund from 3rd to last spot to cash. I've got 8 bowlers confirmed already, Alicia Russell, Troy Blickenstaff, Richard Jones Jr., Ross Lions, Chris Lerma, Jack Rivas, Jason Angeles and David Fry.
