Scottsdale - - - We're thrilled to announce a transition of our Via Linda location to Chris De Marco and Joey Gyurko of CJ’s Precision Pro Shop!
Chris and Joey, with their extensive experience and training under the guidance of Frank Bellinder, had been operating a successful bowling Pro Shop in California. They bring a wealth of expertise to serve the Via Linda community.
This change will open up more opportunities for Dave to focus on lessons at our Christown and Kyrene locations, as well as indulge in some personal competition!
Rest assured, our dedicated team of Debi Etem, Richard Armstrong, and TJ Barrett will continue to provide top-notch service to the Christown and Kyrene communities.

THIRD ANNUAL PAY IT FORWARD TOURNAMENT, SEPTEMBER 16 - Courtesy Of Mark Kerr.
Tucson - - - One of the great things about our bowling family are those who work hard and give back for the future of our sport, the youth bowler. One is Mr. Cory Knop of Ready to Strike.
Cory works with our younger bowlers and with the Junior Programs at Bowlero, as well with the other similar programs. Two years ago, Cory took it a step further with the creation of the Pay It Forward, which raises funds for all of Tucson's junior bowling programs.
Pay It Forward is more than bowling games at Bowlero. It is about the future of bowling and our junior bowlers, giving them the opportunity to succeed on and off the lanes.
You can bowl and donate through your entry fee. You can also donate to Pay It Forward and score off the lanes too. Cory is working to get sponsors for the third annual event, which Tucson Metro USBC will also be helping with a donation.

Mesa - - - Thank you to those who came out on Sunday September 10, and supported the PBA Win-A-Spot for the Virtue Bowling Supply PBA Regional being held September 29 - October 1st. On a rather challenging Wayne Webb pattern, Matthew Zweig would take the top spot, along with Ben Perry and Joshua Molloy earning entries into the event. A new participant in one my events, Nicholas Barrieault, would earn the lone cash spot.

Tempe - - - For those of you competing in the upcoming PBA Regionals in Mesa at the end of September, the PBA has announced Cheetah as the oil pattern. As such, we will be running Cheetah on our lanes a fair amount in September. This is a great opportunity to get some reps on the pattern leading up to the tournament.
For those that are not bowling the Regionals, you can take advantage of the chance to practice on a short oil pattern (not to be confused with a dry oil pattern). It can be a little uncomfortable playing really close to the gutter, but it is usually necessary for success on shorter oil. Learning how to manage your angles through the front of the lane and control the hook down-lane will serve you very well anytime you compete on a short pattern.
