Bowl for the Cure Arizona 2017.

What a year! Our 5th year has been our most memorable year to date filled with hope and supporting those who are fighting, admiring those who has survived, and honoring those who have been taken too soon. We continue to strive for a day we no longer fear breast cancer.

Thank you to all who participated in and supported our events this year! We again hosted two baker tournaments and this year partnered with Vegas Baby Bowling to host a 40 Frame Game, creating more opportunities to participate and support an amazing cause! We are proud to announce we collected $12,000 between the Phoenix and Tucson Baker Tournaments, and the 40 Frame Game event with some donations still coming in!

The Phoenix baker tournament attracted 22 teams. First place went to The True Riches made up of Nick Ochse, Derek Acuff, Kyle Reed, Correen Lieber, and Ronald Dela Torre. In second was Last Pin Standing with Qyatt Garner, Robert Garner, Michael Koch, Bill Bartlett, and Stephen Haanpaa who put together a nice 290 game during qualifying. Third place was Team Bowling Dynamics with Dave Cirigliano, Steve Roberts, William Martinex, Rick Hashimoto, and Tim Burg. Teams Virtue Bowling Supply and Team 21 finished in 4th and 5th place respectively. Teams Bowling Dynamics and Virtue Bowling Supply and two-time 50-50 winner Dave Cirigliano donated their prize winnings back to the event! The Phoenix event raised a total of $6100.

The Tucson baker tournament brought together 9 teams, many spectators, and collections from multiple leagues in the area. The champions will be known as the top 3 teams as they decided to forego bowling the championships to donate all the prizemoney back to the event! Thank you to Sue and Bunnie Support 2, The Cardiac Team, and Monkey Business with Elvin Sanders, Carol Sanders, Ann Edgett, George Sansone, Skip Sansone, Diana Drury, Nelly Labor, Janis Gunn, Richard, Drury, William Labor, Karin Merritt, Andrea Ortegon, Dave Ortegon, Roger Burnham, and Arnulfo Delgado. Our 50-50 winner Jeremy Rose also donated prize winnings back to the event! From the generous donations at this event we raised $5000.

The 40 Frame game brought 38 bowlers to a unique and exciting format. We had Sour Grapes and Mulligans and Bonuses and raised $1000! Great times collecting beads and Pay Days! Watch for more of these events supporting charitable causes in the future! Thank you to Vegas Baby Bowling for hosting the event and donating to Bowl for the Cure Arizona!
