Pony Singles 3rd Quarter Week 5 of 8, 2/4/2019: With three weeks remaining in the third quarter, Jason Van Bodegon (32-8) leads Steve Roberts and Kyle King by 2 points in the 216 and over division. Wes Marema (33-7) leads Carey Lee Hofmann by three points in the 207 to 215 division. In the 201 to 206 division, Henry Diflorio (32-8) has a 4 point lead over Shad Schoenemann and Steve Anderson. Myke White (36-4) leads Alison Super-Kozak by 6 points in the 193 to 200 division. The 182 to 192 division is led by Jim Bungard (34-6) who holds a 4 point lead over John Lesner. Scot Piercy and Becky Tistle are tied for the lead with 32-8 records in the 181 and under division.

Pony League Sponsored by Revolutions Pro Shops, Third Quarter Week 5 of 8, 2/4/2019: Coming down the home stretch in the third quarter, All Mixed Up is atop the standings with a 38-2 record, followed by Chi-Town at 36-4, Anger Sharks at 34-6 and Revolutions Pro Shop at 30-10. Joey Burruel's 11-in-a-row 290 was the high game of the week, followed by a trio of 279 games rolled by Gary Demeny, Steven Berry and Tom King. Shad Schoenemann's 768 series was high for the evening with Jason Van Bodegon's 761, Jeff Miller's 757 and Joey Burruel's 753 filling the remaining spots on the leader board. Sara Wolek rolled the high game of the evening for the ladies with a 247 followed by Alison Super-Kozak's 241, Kristie Albani's 235 and Danielle Worthington's 234. Sara's 673 series was high for the night followed by Becky Tistle's 638, Kristie Albani's 624 and Alison Super-Kozak's 619. Pony League bowlers averaged 196 per game this week, raising the season to date average to 194 per game. Next week (2/11/19) is the final week for roster changes for the rest of the third quarter. No new roster members on 2/18/19 and position round 2/25/19. Anyone bowling the end-of-third quarter position round on 2/25/19 needs to have rolled at least 15 games in the Pony League this season.

The Kingman Youth City Tournament will be held this weekend, February 9-10, at Cerbat Lanes in Kingman. Squad times are Saturday at 10 am, and on Sunday at 12:30 pm.

40th Annual Metro Phoenix Youth Championships.

The 40th annual Metro Phoenix Youth Championships, will also be held this weekend February 9-10, at Bowlero Avondale. Squad times are at 11 am on Saturday, and 2 pm on Sunday. Bowlero Avondale is located at 1425 North Central Avenue in Avondale.

The Mesa Metropolitan USBC Association will host a Valentine's Day (President's Day Weekend) Youth 5 game Scratch Tournament & Jr. Gold qualifying event on Saturday February 16th, 2019 at Brunswick Zone Mesa Lanes.
