Message From National 40 Frame Game.

Hello Forty Framers,

I am reaching out to you to bring you up to date on our 2022 Forty Frame Game USA event scheduled for March 12 to July 17, 2022, in Las Vegas this year. The sad news is we are not going to be able to offer you our USA event this year. The happy news is we will be operating our USA event next year, 2023, in Reno.

The reasons for this decision are numerous, but lane availability is the key. COVID-19 and the current Omicron virus continue to have an impact on most all of us as we move forward in the first half of 2022.

The bowling centers in Las Vegas and Reno must service their regular customer base first and foremost. The one and two week tournaments plus weekend sweepers they solicit are regular customers, just like their league and open play customers. They recruit them to fill their lanes twelve months a year. After being down for two years in 2020 and 2021 with the virus, these “additional regular customers” are intending to participate in a big way in 2022. As a result, we have faced a serious problem in securing adequate lane availability for a successful tournament in 2022.

We are extremely disappointed not to offer the FFG USA this year. But we are also confident the projects we have in process will make us better than ever for your enjoyment of our game. We want to arrive in Reno in 2023 with The Forty Frame Game you have always respected and appreciated. We pledge to you our best efforts to accomplish this goal.

Thank you for your support and loyalty.

Jim Walter

President

The Forty Frame Game
