Centreville, Va. – The Portland Lumberjacks defeated the Las Vegas High Rollers to win back-to-back PBA League Elias Cup championships on Wednesday at Bowlero Centreville.

Portland successfully defended their title defeating the expansion Las Vegas franchise, 3-2, in a best-of-five championship match series.

In game one, Las Vegas took an early lead, winning 252-197, but Portland made necessary adjustments rebounding to win games two and three with scores of 278-218 and 235-210.

Venice, Fl. - - -  The only bowling alley in Venice has closed. 

AMF Venice Lanes at 1100 U.S. 41 Bypass South has shut down permanently, according to the company's website. The bowling alley closed on a temporary basis because of COVID-19 on March 17, and this week a closing notice was posted online.

ARLINGTON, Texas - The United States Bowling Congress is exploring options for an alternate host city for the 2021 USBC Women's Championships, currently scheduled to be conducted at Stardust Bowl in Addison, Illinois. USBC is looking for greater operational and scheduling flexibility for the Women's Championships due to uncertainty about COVID-19 restrictions.
