Men win Sin City Open, Women repeat at Rebel Classic

The Grand Canyon University Bowling team continues to pile up accolades in what has become arguably its best season in program history.

A long but successful weekend at The Orleans Bowling Center in Las Vegas ended with tournament titles on both the men’s and women’s sides as the Lopes turned in big performances in the Sin City Open and Rebel Classic.

Van Sickle Wins First 'Cut The Field' Event At Tucson Bowl

Tucson - - - Congratulations to Bryan Van Sickle (pictured left) for winning the 1st Pro Bowl Sunday (Cut the Field) Handicap Tournament on Sunday January 26th, 2020, at Tucson Bowl, 7020 E 21st Street. We had a great turnout, 29 entries, I thank everyone for bowling this event. Thank you to our Tournament Director, Josh Quesnel for running the tournament.

Glendale - - - Mathew Adragna’s flawless 300 game highlighted a near-perfect weekend for the Grand Canyon University Bowling program, which placed third in Saturday’s Devil’s Duel Invitational before winning the Antelope Shoot-Out at Glenfair Lanes in Glendale.

ARLINGTON, Texas – Satisfaction with the United States Bowling Congress Women’s Championships is at an all-time high and, because survey results from 2019 participants show a majority favor using Championships Average as the entering average at the event, that change will take effect for the 2021 tournament in the Chicago area.

Haugen Wins 2020 AZ State Masters Title.

Scottsdale - - - Congratulations goes out to Bryanna Cote, and Michael Haugen on winning the Arizona State USBC Masters and Queens title this past weekend. The event was held on Sunday January 12, 2020 at Bowlero Via Linda in Scottsdale. Haugen defeated Andrew Cain of Phoenix, in the title match 207-177, to win the event.
