ARLINGTON, Texas - Charles Easton of Sylvania, Ohio, has earned the men's United States Bowling Congress National High Average Award for a second consecutive season after putting together a near-record effort during the 2020-2021 season.

Easton, 30, posted the second-highest average in USBC history in the Toledo New Bath/Sparks Concrete league at Jug's Bowling Center in Toledo, Ohio, finishing with a 259.56 average for 75 games.

Mesa - - - Your Mesa Metro board members making a donation to the Post 35 American Legion Riders "Toys for Tots" campaign. This money was raised during the 3rd Annual Mesa Metro Military tournament. We were able to do this through of the generosity of our bowlers and sponsors.

Schmitt Latest To Roll 900 Series

The 26-year-old right-hander grew up bowling at the 12-lane center in Elkhart Lake before his family took over ownership of the facility in 2013, and he has been running the pro shop inside the center - Firehouse Pro Shop - since the summer of 2019.

He's surrounded by family and longtime friends each day he walks in, which made his experience of rolling three consecutive 300 games for a 900 series on Nov. 16 something he'll never forget.

ARLINGTON, Texas - United States Bowling Congress Hall of Famer Mark Roth of Fulton, New York, died Friday, November 26. He was 70.

The 34-time Professional Bowlers Association Tour champion, also a member of the PBA Hall of Fame, had been battling ongoing heart and health issues since suffering a massive stroke in 2009 that left him partially paralyzed on his left side.

First Annual MMA Turkey Trot.

Payson - - - Sending out a huge Thank You! to the 29 bowlers who made the trip up to Payson, on Sunday November 21. To bowl in the first annual MMA Turkey Trot. Despite the challenges of getting up the hill from Mesa, because of the Arizona Ironman Race, a good time was had by all. ARLINGTON, Texas - As the 2021 Professional Women's Bowling Association Tour season began to wind down after a busy August, it became clear the chase for the coveted PWBA Player of the Year award was going to be determined at the season-ending PWBA Fall Classic Series.

The Fall Classic Series, which featured the final three events of the 2021 season, set the stage for a multitude of scenarios and an ever-changing order to the season-long points list, which determines the award winner for the year.
