USBC Women's Championships Conclude In Wichita.

The 2019 event kicked off April 20 and lasted for 72 days in The Air Capital of the World. A total of 4,108 four-player teams, more than 16,000 bowlers, participated at the 48-lane venue, competing in four average-based divisions for team competition and six divisions for doubles, singles and all-events.

All standings are unofficial and pending final verification.

Champion Of Champions Tournament At Rim Country Bowl In Payson. 

Payson - - - The Mesa Metro Association held its 50th Champion of Champions tournament on June 29-30 at Rim Country Bowl in Payson.The first Champion of Champions tournament took place in 1969. The tournaments entries were comprised of teams who had won their league championship during the 2018-19 season. And of teams who were invited to take part in the event.

NORTH LAS VEGAS, Nev. - Needing a double in the 10th frame for the chance to win the 2019 U.S. Women's Open, Danielle McEwan of Stony Point, New York, delivered a pair of strikes and toppled nine pins to win her second career major championship.

McEwan defeated top seed Tannya Roumimper of Indonesia in the title match, 201-199, to claim the coveted green jacket and $20,000 top prize for her fifth career Professional Women's Bowling Association Tour title.

NORTH LAS VEGAS, Nev. - With three challenging oil patterns and 24 games completed at the 2019 U.S. Women's Open, six-time champion Liz Johnson of Palatine, Illinois, tops the field as qualifying came to a close Thursday at Texas Star Lanes.

The United States Bowling Congress Hall of Famer rolled the highest eight-game block among all competitors Thursday (1,761), including the first 300 game of the 2019 event, to finish qualifying with a 5,145 total, a 214.38 average.
