ALLEN PARK, Mich.  – Rhino Page of Orlando finished with a 2,341 10-game pinfall total after the secondround Tuesday to lead PBA Cheetah Championship qualifying and 16 players who advanced to match play in the first event of PBA World Series of Bowling X at Thunderbowl Lanes.

Bowling on PBA’s 33-foot Cheetah lane condition, the six-time Go Bowling! PBA Tour winner bowled games of 259, 235, 187, 258 and 209 in Tuesday’s first round and 257, 268, 194, 217 and 257 in the second round.

ARLINGTON, Texas – It took EJ Tackett a gold-medal performance in the 2018 World Bowling Men’s Championships just to sneak into the World Bowling Tour Men’s Finals, and then it took a clutch 10th-frame strike to lock up a one-pin victory over top qualifier Anthony Simonsen at the International Training and Research Center.

Mesa - - - The MMA held its 35th Annual Masters Tournament on February 23, at Brunswick Zone Mesa. A big congratulations goes out to David Sevier on winning this years title. Those who made the cut to the top five, are listed below.

To reach their ultimate goal, the Grand Canyon University Men’s Bowling team will have to put several of those flashes together in a two-day span some 1100 miles away from the Valley of the Sun.

Congrats to Josh Blanchard of Mesa, who finished fourth in the Tournament Of Champions last weekend at Riviera Lanes in Akron, OH. Josh won the opening match by defeating Lavery-Spahr, 190-180. But lost in the second match to E.J. Tackett, 264-236. He collected $11,000 for his efforts.
