McCarthy Wins 2022 U.S. Women's Open

SOUTH GLENS FALLS, N.Y. - In what’s been a popular method to win on the Professional Women’s Bowling Association Tour this season, Erin McCarthy of Elkhorn, Nebraska, climbed the ladder to win the 2022 U.S. Women’s Open.

The 31-year-old right-hander defeated Danielle McEwan of Stony Point, New York, 212-172, to win her first career major title Tuesday at Kingpin’s Alley Family Fun Center. She is the fifth player this season to successfully climb the stepladder to capture a title.

LAS VEGAS - Clancy Mueller of St. Charles, Missouri, added to his legacy at the United States Bowling Congress Open Championships as he became the 25th bowler to reach 100,000 pins for his career Friday at the South Point Bowling Plaza.

The region returned to Southern California this weekend for the 2022 Casino Morongo Open. A field of 72 players took to the lanes in 8 games of qualifying followed by the top 24 having 4 more games to reach our top 8 finalists.

In our semi final match, we saw the #4 seed Cortez Schenck take down the #1 seeded Jakob Butturff 2-1. In our other semi final match, the #2 seeded Darren Tang squeaked by our #3 seed Michael Fitzgerald 2-1.

AZ's Cote, Wins Third PWBA Title

The reigning PWBA Player of the Year defeated Danielle McEwan of Stony Point, New York, 212-152, to win the PWBA BVL Classic at Maple Lanes.

Coté earned $10,000 for the win, which was her first of the 2022 PWBA Tour season. The BVL Classic was broadcast live on CBS Sports Network.

Coté, the No. 4 seed, entered the title match on a roll after tossing games of 289, 243 and 278 for an 810 series.

Mesa Metro Annual Meeting Takes Place This Sunday June 12, 2022.

Gilbert - - - The Mesa Metro Association (MMA) will be holding its annual meeting this Sunday June 12, 2022 @ 1PM.

The meeting will take place at Bowlero Gilbert. 1160 South Gilbert Road in Gilbert.

ARLINGTON, Texas - For the first time since 2019, Junior Team USA will be competing on the international stage as eight athletes have been selected to wear the red, white and blue at the 2022 International Bowling Federation U21 World Championships.

The event will be held at Olympia Bowling in Helsingborg, Sweden, from June 21-29, with competition being contested in singles, doubles, team and mixed team events.

O'Keefe Wins Twin Cities Open

EAGAN, Minn. – Two months ago, Shannon O’Keefe was in tears after cutting short a practice session because of severe pain in her left hip. Concerned that she would not be able to properly prepare for the grind of another season, she kept pushing through the pain and claimed her 15th career title Sunday at the PWBA Twin Cities Open.

The 43-year-old right-hander from Belleville, Illinois, defeated Missy Parkin of San Clemente, California, 213-192, in the title match at Cedarvale Lanes live on CBS Sports Network.
