PORTLAND, Maine  ­– Kris Prather was the first of 17 PBA members drafted Monday at Bayside Bowl as the eight PBA League teams filled out their rosters for the 2019 PBA League Elias Cup competition which returns to Bayside Bowl in July.

The PBA League draft – which was streamed live on FloBowling – began with Portland Lumberjacks manager Tim Mack, selecting Prather from a list of 15 first-round draft-eligible players.

LAS VEGAS – Jakob Butturff of Tempe, Arizona, captured his first career major championship after winning the 2019 United States Bowling Congress Masters on Monday at the Gold Coast Hotel and Casino.

ALLEN PARK, Mich. - As top qualifier for the 2019 World Series of Bowling X PBA World Championship stepladder finals, Australian two-hander Jason Belmonte finds himself once again one more match win away from a record 11th career PBA major title.

The stepladder finals of the fourth event of WSOB X, and the third major of the 2019 Go Bowling! PBA Tour season, will air live next Thursday at 8 p.m. ET on FS1 from Thunderbowl Lanes in suburban Detroit.

ALLEN PARK, Mich.  – Rhino Page of Orlando finished with a 2,341 10-game pinfall total after the secondround Tuesday to lead PBA Cheetah Championship qualifying and 16 players who advanced to match play in the first event of PBA World Series of Bowling X at Thunderbowl Lanes.

Bowling on PBA’s 33-foot Cheetah lane condition, the six-time Go Bowling! PBA Tour winner bowled games of 259, 235, 187, 258 and 209 in Tuesday’s first round and 257, 268, 194, 217 and 257 in the second round.
