Wilbur Is Latest Bowler To Record 900 Series.

ARLINGTON, Texas - Jonathan Wilbur owned the record for the highest three-game series ever bowled in the state of Vermont for nearly a decade, before his friend and teammate visited the Green Mountain State and beat his set by a single pin.

Wilbur reclaimed the record Monday and guaranteed himself a permanent spot atop the list by rolling the state's first 900 series, which included 36 consecutive strikes during the Commercial men's league at Rutland Bowlerama in Rutland, Vermont.

Butturff Takes Second At HOF Classic

ARLINGTON, Texas – Bill O’Neill of Langhorne, Pa., defeated top qualifier Jakob Butturff of Tempe, Ariz., 199-194, to win the Professional Bowlers Association Hall of Fame Classic title at the International Training and Research Center Sunday and in the process became title-eligible for election to the PBA Hall of Fame in the future.

The finals aired live on FOX Sports’ FS1 channel in the 2019 Go Bowling! PBA Tour’s debut event in its new multi-year television agreement with FOX.

LAS VEGAS - In five years on Junior Team USA, Wesley Low Jr. of Palmdale, California, earned 26 medals in international competition, and his success included five titles in World Bowling Youth Championships competition.

At the 2018 World Youth Championships, his final appearance with Junior Team USA, Low failed to medal for the first time in his career.

ARLINGTON, Texas - Team USA standout Shannon Pluhowsky of Dayton, Ohio, earned the United States Bowling Congress National High Average and High Series Awards for the 2017-2018 season as she reclaimed the record for the highest average for a season by a woman.
